Maybe fate is saying it wants me to make sure you know a few card combos really well 
I was going to be ambitious and do a June reading today, but I was working on the blog, readings, and a workshop til the wee hours of the morning, so three cards it is today. It’s all right. You’ve seen them before.
Gentleman, Whips, Stars
We all know the Gentleman is a man, yes? And I have no ’significant other’ (that phrase makes me cringe).
And we know that Whips + Stars can indicate either music, or an argument that clears the air. Possibly I’ll hear from a man in the music industry today? Don’t know. I feel as if I’m in the middle of a strange loop.
In a last ditch attempt to get some information out of my surgeon, I wrote to his nurse whilst bypassing him entirely and didn’t mention the blow-up he and I had. She said they want one more set of tests to determine if I’m cured, because the ones they have so far (which indeed got there twice) are indicating that the problem is still there. I already knew that, and it’s not getting any better.
I’m having the tests re-done this week, but I feel as bad as I did before, and the only thing that causes this kind of bad is parathyroid disease. So at least I’ll find out officially, though I already know. That means I’ll need another surgery, which I don’t even want to think about at the moment, given how difficult and expensive it was to organise the first one, and a second one would be a lot more difficult and costly, and – I’d need to find a new surgeon.
Travel, anyone? That’s been a major theme, lately, too.

Thank you so much for the good wishes, Aristede. I have that feeling though that I’m not cured – two sets of tests so far saying it, and my symptoms have all come back with a bang (they never completely disappeared, but they were a little better for a few weeks post-surgery).
But I do hope the blow-up is something we can get past. Though it would take a lot more than that for me to ever trust the man again.
I will, however, take all the healing energy I can get – it is very much appreciated.

Hello Chanah,
Aristede’s take on your cards today really makes a lot of sense – the man could be your doctor and the whips and then the stars perhaps show that the trouble with him will clear up. Maybe, he will even see what a jerk he has been.
I’m so sorry to hear that the parathyroid disease seems to be coming back. Even though my background is in the medical field I don’t know very much about it – will read up on it so I can understand better what you are going through.
Medical problems can be very difficult to solve. Never give up hope – it is hard, it is upsetting but in the end it IS worth it. Life can be good, even if it isn’t perfect.
It would be wonderful if we could do a spell or wave a magic wand and make you better – however, more surgery is probably more practical. However, I really do believe in miracles as well. I’ve seen some very, very ill people become whole again.
So, dear Chanah, it is normal to be worried and upset but don’t give up hope. Even though your test results weren’t good – wait for the next set to be sure. My good thoughts and healing vibrations are coming your way.

Thank you so much, Sammie. And again, all good vibes are appreciated. I know miracles can happen, too – I just wish I didn’t seem to need so many of them.

Hi Chanah,
I hope today’s cards mean that the blow up you had with the surgeon will clear the way for finding out what’s really going on with you.
Even this layout seems positive with the Star, so I hope the new set of tests won’t be as bad as you expect. I hate to think that your surgery didn’t clear up the problem like it was supposed to do.
I’m sending lots of positive healing energy your way. Please keep us posted on what happens.
